Ian Eugene Ryan is a film, television, theatre, voiceover actor and director, and an award-winning screenwriter. Born in Toronto to Caribbean parents who emigrated to Canada, Mr.Ryan was educated at McGill University in Montreal where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with classical training in drama and theatre. Mr. Ryan has worked with high caliber artists from the inception of his care and made his film debut in the 1996 crime-thriller "Naked City", directed by Peter Bogdanovich. In 2004, Mr. Ryan founded his multi-faceted, Los Angeles based production company Period Pictures - https://www.periodpictures.com, which develops and produces timeless, cinematic fiction and non-fiction stories. Inspired by socially relevant works about the human experience, Period Pictures is dedicated to creating works told with great integrity and reverence. Mr. Ryan resides in Los Angeles where he supports multiple social causes including literacy advocacy with the Learning Ally - https://www.learningally.org; and the environmental conservation of our parks and oceans through Ocean Conservation Society.
