It all began in her hometown Hackettstown, New Jersey. Tess was still perfecting her craft and taking voice over classes when she decided to make a change and move to beautiful Southern Florida. It was there that she obtained a talent agent and was discovered at Hollywood Across America sponsored by International Casting Director, Ellen Jacoby. Tess delivered a hilarious monologue about meatballs and brought the house down. That was it....from there it was on wonderful booking after another. On her very first audition, Tess booked an International Commercial with AT&T U-Verse. Tess had the extreme pleasure of meeting and acting in director Gil Greens movie ,"Who is Lou Gehrig". Gill is also a, hip hop artist who has directed more than 150 music videos for multi-platinum artists such as John Legend, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Akon, Lil Wayne, Kanye West to name a few. The film is the story of Jeff Fogels altered realities dealing with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's Disease. It was to be one of the most rewarding, spiritual, and enlightening experiences in Tess's career. Working with 305 Films was a dream come true. Tess, the master of many voices and personalities, then morphed into Selma Blingowitz . Selma had the pleasure of attending the Rally in Tally the vision of manager Rose Warner , and spoke to the Florida Legislature as her red-haired, irreverent character, and had every congressman holding their sides with laughter. From Rally in Tally , Selma auditioned for R.J Casting and the Calder Casino for their new advertising campaign. On the advice of her Super Agent, Cathy Tully, Coconut Grove Talent, Selma showed up in full Leopard garb and red wig sending the director into hysterics. Selma, can be seen in all her glory on a TV commercial , the casino buses, a billboard on the Florida turnpike and on city buses throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Tess is currently working on a cook book and developing a concept for a cooking show. Starting at the age of 9 she worked and learn to cook in her parents' 250 year old Historic Hotel. There, she learned to develop her passion for cooking and entertaining. Tess would sing and entertain the guests before the booked acts would go on stage. Presently, Tess is involved in the writing and development of a 30 minute comedy/drama sitcom. She is collaborating with fellow actor Thomas Falborn and Fred Lovitz to write and star in the show. Tess will be reprising her character Selma and Thomas Falborn will be playing half-sister Sylvia Mc Dougal. Selma and Sylvia have been invited by Bryan Thompson to attend The Second Annual Miami Web TV Awards. In their first ever public appearance, Selma and Sylvia will be presenting the award for best Comedy. They are extremely honored to be introduced in this forum, which will be televised all over the world.
