Born in Houston Texas, Derrick Fury spent his early years traveling and living in various cities before he finally returned to H-Town as a teenager. As a result, Derrick developed an appreciation for diversity as is reflected in his film-work today. Passionate about music, throughout much of his life, Derrick toured, performed and released his own brand of conscious hip-hop across the US, Europe and Asia.
