Julian Grey was born in Los Angeles, CA and holds both American and German nationality. Grey, aged 13, lives with his parents, twin sister and older brother in Los Angeles. A newcomer to film, Grey completed his first two features in 2019 including the recently released Searchlight Pictures dark comedy Downhill (2020) directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, which had its world premiere at Sundance this past January, followed by a theatrical release on Valentine's Day. Shot on location in the Austrian Alps, "Downhill" was an ideal location for Grey who has been skiing since he was six years old. In the film, Grey portrays Finn, son of Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Grey also recently wrapped on the upcoming Blumhouse/Sony remake of the 90s cult classic, The Craft, directed by Zoe Lister-Jones and starring Michelle Monaghan and David Duchovny. Prior to working in feature films, Grey landed his first role in television at the age of nine on Fox's Wayward Pines (2015), as the young, troubled son of Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo). Followed shortly after with a recurring role on Netflix's first original limited series Godless (2017), the critically-acclaimed, gritty western that was nominated for twelve Emmys and won three. Grey portrays William McNue, son of the town sheriff (Scoot McNairy) and nephew of Mary Agnes (Merritt Wever) and can be seen in six of the seven episodes. Executive produced by Steven Soderbergh and Casey Silver, along with Scott Frank, who also wrote and directed the series, Godless was named one of 2017's ten best shows by Vanity Fair and The Washington Post. Stay tuned for more updates as Grey has several exciting projects in the works for 2020. - IMDb Mini Biography By: M.C.
