Donald James "D.J." Morrison is a United States Marine Corps veteran. He grew up in Boise Idaho where he competed in basketball, baseball and snow skiing. He started racing motocross at 17 and spent several seasons racing street stock cars as well. He made his film debut after moving to Texas in 2004, first as a stunt performer for the historical war drama Alamo - Der Traum, das Schicksal, die Legende (2004). He made his acting debut three years later in the action film short Ride to Live (2007), a film which he wrote, directed and starred in. The following year, he made an appearance in the war drama Stop-Loss (2008) followed by a role in the television series Friday Night Lights. Two years later, he made a second appearance in the action film Machete (2010), starring Danny Trejo. In 2013, D.J. joined the second and third seasons of Revolution (2012). Next, D.J. appeared in film shorts including Come with Me (2014) and Rain (2016). He then appeared in the horror film Emeryville (2016) and Chinaman Wu-Ping: Stranger Out of Canton (2017). He has been in television commercials for companies and business including Budweiser, Arby's, Chevrolet, Tide, Advanced Auto Parts, Ram Truck.
