Raul was born on September 21st, 1982 in Puerto Plata, a city on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic. Growing up, Raul always loved acting in Christmas plays at school, and it was these plays that sparked his love for acting. In 2004, he participated as an extra in low budget film from Hollywood, it was Raul's first experience on a film set, this experience made him pursue a career as a film actor and started to train and improve his talent with Dominican veteran actors.
