Alaya was born on October 14, 2005 in Warren, Michigan. From early on in her childhood everyone could tell that she was a unique child. She comes from a large family and is the fifth child out of 5 brothers and 5 sisters, she has a very kind heart and the spirit of a leader. Her imagination is very broad and active, which shows in her often creative ideas and thoughts. She always took pride in entertaining people with her many gifts. Hip-hop dancing, singing, acting, drawing are some of the daily activities she partakes in. At the age of 9 Alaya knew she wanted to act and in 2014 her parents saw something in her and decided to get her acting lessons at the Studios of Michigan and she performed her first monologue in a talent showcase. Then a year later she continued pursuing her dreams of acting once she and her family moved to Florida. In 2016 she performed a hip-hop dance performance in her school's talent show and also featured in an online commercial for Avalon Park in Orlando, Florida. Shortly after she attended the Celebrity Experience showcase in California in July of 2017, where she took the lead role in the TCE Showcase and also performed in the Talent show. Alaya participated in several acting courses while attending the TCE showcase. She is a very fast learner and very athletic, enjoys playing football, basketball, and loves boxing. Learning and experiencing new things is a big trait of hers, and she has a strong interest in science and tries to invent things on a daily basis.
